In Memory of the Greatest Coach ever, Coach Pat Summitt. Donate to the Pat Summitt Foundation Today.

On behalf of the students, staff, volunteers, and alumni of WUTK, we want to wish the family and friends peace during this time where we mourn the loss of Coach Pat Summitt with you.  Coach Summitt was always very gracious with her time, more than once going out of her way to make herself available to be interviewed live by our students who hosted and produced Rock Solid Sports in the past.  She taught us all life lessons that will never be forgotten, and we all have lost a member of our UT family.

We would like to encourage you to make a donation to the Pat Summitt Foundation, today, in Coach Summitt’s memory.  Help us put the full court press on Alzheimer’s Disease by clicking on to PatSummitt.org, today, and making a Donation.
WUTK thanks you for your help as we honor the memory of the greatest coach, ever, Coach Pat Summitt.  Go Lady Vols!

Thanks to you, and The UTK Alumni Association’s VOLstarter campaign WUTK is going to be able to replace our Foam Tile. THANK YOU @tennalum & donors! We are going to replace our studio Foam Tile! $2605 Raised!

We are going to replace our studio Foam Tile! $2605 Raised! Thank you.
Help support WUTK 90.3 Volunteer Radio replace our decaying sound paneling in the studio!

We here at WUTK 90.3 The Rock, also known as UT’s College of Rock, are an independent, non-commercial college radio station owned by the University of Tennessee and operated by the UT Department of Journalism and Electronic Media.  We rely on donations and community support for expensive repairs and equipment upgrades.

We are in need of new sound paneling for our facility, which functions by eliminating common acoustic issues such as unwanted echoes, excessive bass and standing waves. By purchasing and installing this paneling, not only will the quality of the station’s programming improve, but so will the work environment for the student DJs, guest artists, and more who visit the station on a daily basis.

UT’s Department of Journalism and Electronic Media uses the radio station as a learning tool for students interested in radio broadcast to gain practical experience.  Your donation directly impacts the more than 75 students that operate, DJ, broadcast, and learn at the radio station each semester!

We would love your help in making a dire repair at the station – watch this video for more information!  VOLstarter WUTK campaign

THANK YOU TO ALL OUR DONORS THUS FAR! On our “Hero Day”, we raised the first $1000 with the Alumni Association matching the first 100 donations. We can’t stay on the air without you! Keep the momentum going, and Donate here!

Thanks for listening, as always!
