90.3 The Rock thanks The Tennessee Theatre in downtown Knoxville for their support. 90.3 The Rock proudly presents STS9, or Sound Tribe Sector Nine live at The Tennessee Theatre Saturday, November 8th. Doors open at 7 p.m. Reserved seat tickets are$24 each plus fees, and on sale now at all Tickets Unlimited Outlets, by phone at 656-4444, and on line at Tennessee theatre dot com. STS9’s instrumental style blends instrumental rock and electronic music crossed with elements of funk, jazz, psychedelia, and hip hop. WUTK Welcomes the Tennessee Valley Fair back to Chilhowee Park in East Knoxville
90.3 The Rock welcomes The Tennessee Valley Fair to East Knoxville for its 89th year. The fair runs from Friday, September 5th through Sunday, September 14th at Chilhowee Park in east Knoxville.
Events at this year’s Tennessee Valley Fair include The Village People in concert September 5th, Chris Cagle in concert September 14th, Fireworks each night, the tractor/truck pull, the Demolition Derby, Tennessee Mountain Wrestling matches, and La Fiesta Latina Six on September 14th!
Other events include Krystal Square-Off Eating Contests, Tennessee State Arm Wrestling Championship, Guitar Hero contests and more.

Carlos Mencia stars in and is executive producer of the Comedy Central series, Mind of Mencia. Carlos Mencia brings his latest stand-up routine “At Close Range” presented by Bud Light to the Tennessee Theatre in downtown Knoxville.

90.3 The Rock welcomes The Tennessee Valley Fair back to Knoxville, running September 5th through the 14th. 90.3 The Rock and the Tennessee Valley Fair will be broadcasting a live remote Wednesday, September 3rd from Pedestrian Walkway between 10:30 a.m. and 2p.m.
We’ll be giving out free, cold Pepsi drinks while they last, and registering students for tickets to the 89th annual Tennessee Valley Fair, including reserved seat tickets to see THE VILLAGE PEOPLE, FOGHAT, and LOVERBOY live in concert at the fair. We’ll have program guides to the fair, and lots more info to give out.
Be sure to stop by The Rock’s live remote broadcast Wednesday, September 3rd at the Pedestrian Walkway for free stuff, and plenty of info about the 89th Annual Tennessee Valley. 90.3 The Rock and our Sunday night reggae show “Simmer Down” proudly sponsors the 10th annual CAMP REGGAE, high in the Smoky Mountians on Sassafrass Ridge in Turtletown, Tennessee, August 29th through the 31st. A weekend retreat of live music, camping, soccer, hiking, Caribbean food, and cool runnings, Camp Reggae is hosted by The Natti Love Joys. You may camp a day early, and leave a day late, but no pets are allowed on site!
Natti Love Joys, Mystic Dub, Scholars World, Fat Penguin, The Ahead Band, and other acts will be providing live reggae vibes with the backdrop of the Smoky Mountains.
