90.3 The Rock thanks the non-profit UT College of Communications and Information for their support.
The UT CCI presents Diversity and Inclusion Week: “Does Diversity Really Matter,” a 4-day event running from Monday, September 30th through Thursday, October 3rd, offering participants an opportunity to gain diversity skills and knowledge along with a chance to dialogue about diversity and inclusion issues, and to share best practices by bringing together leaders and experts from inside and outside the college and university
A keynote speech, an open forum, eight panels and a diversity festival will provide our students, faculty, staff and the UTK community with an inspirational and informative week designed to advance their understanding of and appreciation for diversity and inclusion. WUTK’s own Hubert Smith will moderate one panel.
The Rock will be broadcasting live at the CCI Diversity Festival Thursday, October 3rd from 5 to 7:00 p.m. on the walkway of CCI and Circle Park. Barbecue will be served, and music, dance, dramatic performances, games, arts and crafts, and CCI Student Club booths and tables will all be part of the festivities.
