Funny Ears Fringe Fest @ Scruffy City Hall and Preservation Pub, March 23-26, 2017!

The Funny Ears Fringe Fest is four nights of music at Scruffy City Hall and Preservation Pub, on Market Square in Downtown Knoxville. It’s a fringe showcase of over 40 bands for all our international visitors– “fringe” in avant garde music’s case of course means… lots of local ROCK n ROLL!
The Funny Ears Fringe Fest is held on the same nights as the Big Ears Festival, which has been an lively event in Downtown Knoxville, introducing us to avant garde music and the world to lovely, friendly Knoxville, Tennessee.
Here’s the lineup of bands performing on the first night of the fest, March 23:
Preservation Pub’s FREAK FOLKICANA NIGHT- Crystal Bright & The Silver Hands, Blond Bones, Brad Austin, Caney Creek Company, and The Green Fingers.
Scruffy City Hall- Funny Ears Honky Tonk Nighttime Ball curated by Andrew Dale Pirkle. Bands Martha Spencer, Matt Kinman, Alex Leach, and Brandon Fulson & The Realbillys perform.

Preservation Pub’s INDIE PIRATE NIGHT- Little Stranger, Harbor, Rock Eupora, Bella’s Bartok, and Plankeye Peggy.

Preservation Pub- The Young Fables, Kerchief, St Maurice, Electrochemical, Brother Moses, Red As Blood, and Sirius.B.
Reggae Night at Scruffy City Hall- Whyte Noyse, Natty’s Common Roots, and 40 oz Burrito.

Preservation Pub’s SOULGRASS NIGHT- Magnolia Wind, Country Wide, Fossil Creek Company, and Evan Taylor Jones Band.
