UT Science Forum speaker Jan Simek presents The Oldest Cave Paintings in America, Fri. Oct 13 @ Thompson-Boling Arena Cafe @ noon!

WUTK stays on the air with donations from listeners and the non-profit University of Tennessee College of Arts and Sciences and the UT Science Forum. Sharing cutting-edge scientific research with the public, the UT Science Forum is a weekly Friday lunchtime lecture series on the UT campus. The UT Science Forum provides an excellent opportunity for students, UT professors and the general public to learn about the latest research at UT, ORNL, and other local facilities.

 

This Friday, October 13th, Jan Simek, President Emeritus, University of Tennessee, Knoxville and Distinguished Professor of Anthropology will present The Oldest Cave Paintings in America, at 12 P.M. in the Thompson Boling Area Café, Room A. This educational forum is free to the public, including UT students.

 

Grab your lunch and settle in for a 40-minute presentation designed for a general audience and a Q&A session afterwards.
