October 27 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

WUTK stays on the air with donations from listeners and the non-profit University of Tennessee College of Arts and Sciences and the UT Science Forum. Sharing cutting-edge scientific research with the public, the UT Science Forum is a weekly Friday lunchtime lecture series on the UT campus. The UT Science Forum provides an excellent opportunity for students, UT professors and the general public to learn about the latest research at UT, ORNL, and other local facilities.

On Friday, October 27th, Scott E. Schlarbaum, Professor and Director of UT Tree Improvement Program, Department of Forestry, Wildlife & Fisheries at the UT Institute of Agriculture will present Domesticating Hardwood Trees in Tennessee – Why?, at 12P.M. in the Thompson Boling Area Café, Room A. This educational forum is free to the public, including UT students.

Grab your lunch and settle in for a 40-minute presentation designed for a general audience and a Q&A session afterwards.
