The East Tennessee Clean Fuels Coalition presents The 8th Annual Run For Clean Air Saturday, May 14th at Sequoyah Hills Park.  Registration begins at 7:30 and the race starts at 9 AM.  WUTK is a media sponsor of this year's 5K run/walk event that serves to raise awareness for air quality issues in East Tennessee and inform the public about clean transportation fuel alternatives while promoting healthy outdoor activity.

 Hey WUTK listeners, do you want to recycle more? The City of Knoxville is going to make it easier for you to do just that by launching Household Curbside Recycling. Knoxville residents who sign up will receive a cart to put all recyclables in together. No sorting is required. The City’s contractor will pick up the recyclables at the curb every other week. You can do your part, with the cart. Don’t miss out on this easy and convenient way to recycle.
