The Sound Tree: 6pm to 8pm

Decibels After Dark: 10pm to Midnight

Hosted by M.K Harris, Decibels After Dark is a late-night radio show that blends smooth R&B and neo-soul with real stories and raw emotion. It’s more than music. It’s a space to open up, reminisce, and revisit the feelings tied to the moments that made us who we are today. Bad Advice From Terrible People gives listeners 2 hours of Ava Tignor’s and Jessie Karrh’s wildest takes on anything and everything. Tuesday

Backroom Bass: 10am – 12pm

Hosted by Cal Mitchell and Quinn Jones,Backroom Bass explores the EDM culture around the world, and specifically in America. We will dive into every subgenre of EDM, everything from House to Dubstep, while going into depth on our extensive live experiences of these genres and artists in them. We will also keep up with new releases, highlight upcoming artists, and play unreleased ID’s weekly. IG: @backroombass

History Lesson: Part 2: 6pm to 8pm

Hosted by Connor Callison, History Lesson: Part 2 dives deep into the history of music, focusing on the people, events, circumstances, and influences that formed your favorite bands, artists, genres, and scenes that created the music you love. Whether it be Seattle grunge or New York hip-hop, each week will be an exploration of the history of a music genre or scene, with information supplementing each song. Named after the Minutemen song. After the Set: 8pm- 10pm

After the Set is Levi and Evie’s stripped-down wrap-up- where real Knoxville students dig through genres, moods, and moments to bring you intentional, thoughtful curation. It’s personal, unfiltered, and genre-bending: a scavenger hunt for gorgeous songs that linger after the lights come up. Tastemakers, not gatekeepers. Stay after.


Wednesday

New Noise: 6pm to 7pm

Hosted by Connor Callison, New Noise is bringing Knoxville everything loud and heavy first. Highlighting legendary tracks, new heavy hitting releases, and new bands from East Tennessee or far away, New Noise is a one stop shop for your metal, punk and hardcore fix. Stay awake while burning the midnight oil with lightning fast drum beats and distorted guitars. Named after the Refused song. IG: @newnoisewutk

Covered & Smothered: 8pm to 10pm

Do you smell that? No, you aren’t having a stroke, that’s just the aroma of Covered & Smothered with Sweet Pete. Noah Peterson is serving up the crispiest song covers by your favorite artists, and giving you his homemade-obscure picks hot off of the griddle. Listen Wednesday nights from 8-10 PM and come hungry.

The Broderick Richards Experience: 10pm – midnight

Shake it Up! Radio: 10pm – midnight

Hosted by Nathan Schroeder, Sam Rhoton, and Samantha McCauley, Shake it Up! Radio is introducing Knoxville to the new wave of world-wide clubbing. Highlighting feel-good hits with a global twist all throughout the 865. Mixed live in studio.

Cliff Notes 10am to 12pm

Hosted by Lili Ellis, Ava Edwards, and Grey Palmer, Cliff Notes gives you the context behind all the music you love by diving into specific artists and genres that have shaped how music is played today. Tune in from 10 am to 12pm on Saturday for cool facts, great recs, and better conversation.

SherSpinz: 12pm to 2pm

Hosted by Sherleen Mwaura, SherSpinz spotlights the best in new local music, featuring behind-the-scenes interviews, concert reviews, and deep dives into musical discovery.

The Come Up: 2pm to 4pm

Hosted by Cade Beasley, The Birds and the Beas hands the aux cord to a new guest every episode. Hour one sets the vibe, while hour two flips the script as the guest curates their own playlist and takes control of the airwaves. Featuring a weekly game, listener participation, and real conversations with UT students, you won’t want to turn that dial. 

Saturday Night Fever: 10pm to Midnight

Oh no! You’ve caught the fever! Hosted by Brooke Wilson, Saturday Night Fever brings you back to the future with funk and soul hits. Old or new, it’s all got a groove, so stay tuned to funk out to your favorite oldies and Brooke’s top new jams. Tonight might be the future, but don’t miss Saturday Night Fever weekly on Saturday nights from 10pm-12am.
