The Night of Legends: A 1982 Knoxville Family Reunion Show
Join WUTK at Barley’s Knoxville for the “1982 Knoxville Family Reunion Show”
To celebrate WUTK’s 40th birthday we’ll have three K-Town bands/musicians who formed in 1982.
- The S.T.D.’s with all of their original members
- The Clintons with Tate Stanfield filling in for his father, Shannon Stanfield aka the front man Clint Clinton, who passed away in 2010
- The Carl Snow Band featuring Carl Snow who was an original member of the legendary punk band Koro which was formed in 1982
We will be celebrating the Knoxville local music scene and WUTK’s support of it with this once in a lifetime reunion show. All proceeds from the door will go towards the “Forty for Forty” fundraising campaign. We’re aiming to raise $40,000 during our 40th year celebration to purchase a new off-campus tower and transmitter site. This will allow us to increase the station’s on-air footprint.
